Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Herndon and Purcellville, Virginia, Will’s family moved to Greensboro the year after he graduated from The College of William and Mary. He fell in love with people, climate, and, of course, the food of North Carolina instantly, and decided to remain in the Tar Heel State for law school and beyond.
In law school, Will was a competing member of the Holderness Moot Court’s Civil Rights Appellate Advocacy Team and the Pro Bono Coordinator for UNC’s Lambda Law Students Association. Committed to using his knowledge and skills for the public good, Will logged 101 hours of pro bono work as a student at UNC Law.
In his time off, Will likes to challenge himself as an active member of the Triad Water Polo team and a competitive Super Smash Bros. player. When relaxing, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dogs and cheering on the Washington Nationals.
